Hoff Church is where I was baptised, where my parents married and my ancestors on my father's side are buried. Even Mr. Fossemøllen, the giant of my family, the River Man, the Master of the Water Mills, rests here.
Hoff Church is one of four medieval churches around Lake Mjøsa. Further it's one of the stops on the St. Olav Way, the pilegrim path to Trondheim. I planned to hurry home, but the light and the leaves were so beautiful this October evening that I decided to make a stop and take a walk around this nice church.
